Whenever I’m crusing the web, I grab jpegs from all over the place. I saved this one about a week ago, and today looked into the artist a bit more. Peter Marigold is an accomplished woodworker who makes all kinds of furniture out of various peices of wood. Sometimes concrete or metal, but mostly he creates these organic wood structures that seem to breath a life of their own. Definitly look at all his work, it is some of the most creative functional art I have ever seen. His site is also another great example of a simple, clean effective way to show a portfolio.
